About the Role

The AI Learning Specialist is a unique hybrid role that sits at the intersection of education, data science, and product design. You will be responsible for architecting and maintaining the adaptive learning systems that power Satori Academy's personalised curriculum engine. This means working with large language models, learning analytics platforms, and custom-built tools to ensure that every student's learning pathway is dynamically adjusted based on mastery data, engagement signals, and facilitator input. But this is not a purely technical role. You must understand pedagogy deeply enough to translate algorithmic outputs into meaningful educational interventions. You will partner with facilitators daily to calibrate the system, interpret dashboards, and refine recommendation algorithms. You will also lead research into emerging EdTech tools and AI capabilities, keeping Satori at the frontier of what's possible. The ideal candidate is someone who dreams in both Python and Piaget — a rare combination that we believe will define the future of education.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and iterate on Satori's adaptive learning platform and recommendation engine
• Develop dashboards and analytics tools for facilitators to track student mastery and engagement
• Collaborate with facilitators to translate AI insights into actionable pedagogical strategies
• Research and evaluate emerging AI and EdTech tools for potential integration
• Ensure data privacy, security, and ethical AI practices across all student-facing systems
• Train staff on how to interpret and act on learning analytics
• Contribute to Satori's thought leadership on AI in education

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Learning Sciences, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in EdTech, learning analytics, or AI product development
• Proficiency in Python, data pipelines, and machine learning frameworks
• Understanding of pedagogical theory and learning science research
• Experience with LLM integration, prompt engineering, or NLP applications
• Strong communication skills — ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams
• Passion for ethical AI and child data protection
